| Commercial vehicles and cars can board only from Calata Porta di Massa or from Pozzuoli harbor as all the people who want to take the ferry-boat. It’s very easy to reach Naples and Pozzuoli harbors from the highway. To reach Naples harbor from the highway: take the slip road of A1 toward “Napoli – Porto”. If you have booked your car on the ferry-boat, the entrance is from “Varco Bausan”; if you don’t have booked it, follow the indications to the “Varco Pisacane” entrance; when you’ve driven a piece of “Via Marina” enter in “Varco Calata Porta di Massa”. To reach Pozzuoli harbor: from Naples tollgate, carry on for about 12 Km and enter on the “Tangenziale” (the ring road) with direction Pozzuoli. Drive for all this road and then take the first way out after “Via Campana” toll gate, and here follow the instructions for the harbor. Pozzuoli harbor is nearest to the Island and it’s for this reason that it is a valid option. When you are arriver on the Island, follow the instructions for the center of Ischia, “Piazza degli eroi” (Heroes Square) and from here continue to “Ischia Ponte”; it’s useful, like reference point, the bar “La Violetta” because we are at 80 meters from it.

| The passengers can board from Calata Porta di Massa with the ferry-boat, or from Molo Beverello or Margellina with hydrofoil (Aliscafo). From Naples railway station, it’s possible to reach the wharf by public bus that stop at 100 meters from the harbor in Municipio Square (the bus are 3S, R2 and the tram N°1). You can buy the ticket in the newsstands and it costs € 1,60; with the alibus that costs € 3 (it’s possible to buy the ticket on board) or with taxi asking the fix rate “taxi unico” for the harbor. If you want to reach Margellina harbor from Central railway station of Naples, you can take the underground that is placed inside the central railway station. When you’re arrived in Naples Harbour you can choose if you want to leave with the ferry-boat (Traghetto) that costs about € 9 and the shipping duration is of about 1 hour and 20 minutes; by hydrofoil (Aliscafo) the shipping duration is of about 50 minutes and it costs about € 16. When you’re arrived in Ischia Harbour, you can find the bus station and with the line number 7 in about 8 minutes, you will be at the bus stop of “Bar la Violetta”, and we are at 80 meters from it. Or you can take a taxi directly from the harbor asking a fix rate of € 12 and € 1,50 for each baggage. By feet the duration is of about 25 minutes and it’s a pleasant walk along the principal streets of shopping…. If you’re baggage is not heavy!

From Naples Airport – Capodichino, it’s possible to reach Molo Beverello (hydrofoils), Calata Porta di Massa (ferry-boats) and Mergellina (hydrofoils) by taxi ( asking a fix rate “taxi unico”) or by bus (Alibus line or line 3S). The Alibus connect directly the airport with Molo Beverello; you can buy the ticket on board and it costs about € 3. When you arrive in Naples Harbor you can choose if you want to leave with the ferry-boat (Traghetto) that costs about € 9 and the shipping duration is of about 1 hour and 20 minutes; by hydrofoil (Aliscafo) the shipping duration is of about 50 minutes and it costs about € 16.
