26.08.2012 - Feast of St. Alexander and parade of costumes - Ischia Ponte

Every year on August 26, during the feast of Sant 'Alessandro, a procession is held in Ischia historical costumes.
The set wearing lavish costumes belonging to different historical periods of the 'island of Ischia: the period of Greek rule until the period of unit's Italy. The procession leaves at sunset from the Aragonese Castle and runs through the center accompanied by flag bearers until arriving in the port area and then to the district of St. Alexander.
Once arrived in the district, will host the SS. Mass in the church of the saint. Immediately after the Mass, music and festivities are organized tasting of typical products.

01.09/07.09 - Feast of St. John Joseph of the Cross - Ischia Ponte

Solemn celebrations in honor of the patron saint of the island of Ischia. The relic of the saint is carried in procession through the city streets and the sea where the boat with the relic is followed by the fishermen. The festivities conclude with a fireworks show.

30.09.2011 - Feast of St. Michael the Archangel - Sant'Angelo

Every year is celebrated, on September 26th, in the picturesque village of Sant'Angelo, the patron saint: the Archangel Michael.
Procession to the sea and spectacular fireworks in the most chic and charming town of Ischia.
